Job Description
 

• Database planning, creation, parsing and maintenance.

• Developing and maintaining robust and scalable backend solutions using Laravel and RESTful APIs.

• Collaborating with the front-end development team to design and implement APIs that meet the requirements of the application- APIs creation, parsing and troubleshooting.

• Writing clean well-documented and modular back-end functionality code

• Participating in code reviews and testing to ensure the quality of the codebase.

• Work with other developers to implement solutions-Troubleshooting and debugging production issues as needed.

• Staying up to date on emerging technologies, latest industry trends and best practices.
   

Requirements
 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus.

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming.

• Understanding accessibility and security compliance.

• Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.

• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.

• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.

• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience working with MySQL and NoSQL.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools - GIT.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
